Some factories risk being removed from TCO Certified Accepted Factory List, and will no longer be allowed to manufacture certified products. To prevent this from happening, you need to check the audit status for the factories you use.

Some final assembly factories on TCO Certified Accepted Factory List have a ranking that is too low, which means that they risk being removed from this list. Factories that are removed from the list are no longer allowed to manufacture certified products.

This applies to those final assembly factories that are on their second audit cycle as a category 1 factory. These factories need to achieve a category 2 or 3 ranking before the initial/closure audit due date occurs.
