The factory identification template for registering factories that manufacture certified products has been updated. The new version (3.0) is in MS Excel format, improving efficiency and accuracy in factory data management.
With the increase in the number of factories that must now be registered for TCO Certified, generation 10 (both final assembly and display panel factories), we recognize the need for a more efficient and structured approach.
The new template makes it easier to insert data and track changes. It also reduces the risk of errors such as double entries.
Submission and verification requirements
- The template must be submitted to an accepted verifier whenever there is a change to the list of factories, or at least once per year.
- The verifier will compare the submitted information with TCO Certified Accepted Factory List to confirm its accuracy and ensure that all required additional documents for newly added factories are submitted for review.
- The due date for submission is available on TCO Certified Portal.
