Clarification – Energy:worst case values

We’ve received some questions about which energy consumption values should be reported as the “worst case” measurement for TCO Certified products. Some applicants are only reporting the worst case numbers based on the row of the highest Total Energy Consumption, TEC.

To comply with TCO Certified, we require worst case numbers from each individual column: ON, OFF and SLEEP. This is so that if a product is retested at any voltage or frequency the values should not be higher than those stated on the certificate.
