The second draft of TCO Certified, generation 10 is here!

Updated criteria documents for the second draft of TCO Certified, generation 10 are now available. The development process is open to all stakeholders, and before we make final adjustments, we welcome your comments.

On our dedicated webpage for TCO Certified, generation 10 you’ll find an overview highlighting what’s new in this draft, and full criteria documents with mandates and verification methods. Until 20 March, you are welcome to give your input, which we will consider before preparing the final version of this new generation.

The timeline for draft 2 looks as follows:

It is released on 20 February.
On 29 February, we will present the draft in a webinar, with two alternative time slots. The webinar will also be available on demand.
On 1 March, we will host a live Q&A session with the option of taking part on-site at our office in Taipei, Taiwan.
The deadline for submitting comments to draft 2 is 20 March.

The remaining development plan

Final criteria and verification methods will be published in May/June 2024. We will shortly thereafter open up for early applications.
In December 2024, TCO Certified, generation 10 will be launched, certificates will be released, and the first certified products will be presented.
