Previous generation of TCO Certified is discontinued

Today marks the discontinuation of the previous generation of TCO Certified. Make sure to check your certificates!

As of today, December 4th, all certificates belonging to the previous generation of TCO Certified have become invalid. This means that from now, until the release of TCO Certified generation 9 in December 2021, only certificates belonging to TCO Certified generation 8 will be valid.

The generation of TCO Certified that have been discontinued have different names depending on product category:

TCO Certified Displays 7
TCO Certified Notebooks 5
TCO Certified Tablets 3
TCO Certified Smartphones 2
TCO Certified Desktops 5
TCO Certified All-in-one PCs 3
TCO Certified Projectors 2
TCO Certified Headsets 3

Products may no longer be promoted as certified according to TCO Certified once the certificate expires. To upgrade your certificates, contact one of our approved verifiers which will guide you through the process.
