More safer choice process chemicals used as cleaning agents have been added to TCO Certified Accepted Substance List and are now approved for use in factories manufacturing certified products.

Before substances are added to the list, assessments are carried out in accordance with the accepted hazard assessment framework GreenScreen® for Safer Chemicals or GreenScreen Certified®. TCO Certified Accepted Substance List is dynamic and the substances may be reassessed in light of new scientific findings.
