Substances risk being removed from TCO Certified Accepted Substance List as the validity period of their GreenScreen assessments is coming to an end. To keep the substances on the list, they need to be re-assessed.
There are presently several upcoming expiration dates listed on TCO Certified Accepted Substance List. Expiration dates are shown when a GreenScreen assessment is soon approaching the end of its five-year validity and the substance is at risk of being removed.
If no updated assessment report is received by the end of the validity period, the substance will be removed from the list and can no longer be used in certified products.
If you want any of these substances to remain on TCO Certified Accepted Substance List, you need to contact the licensed GreenScreen profiler for a re-assessment or contact Stephen Fuller at TCO Development for more information.
To find out which substances are affected, look for the expiration date on TCO Certified Accepted Substance List.
