Another three non-halogenated flame retardants have been added to TCO Certified Accepted Substance List and are now approved for use in certified products.
The following non-halogenated flame retardants have been assessed by independent Licensed GreenScreen® Profilers, using the framework GreenScreen for Safer Chemicals, and have received a benchmark score that is accepted for use in certified products. The list is dynamic and the substances may be reassessed in light of new scientific findings.
