Two new criteria documents for TCO Certified Edge have been released to harmonize with upcoming changes in TCO Certified, generation 10. You can no longer apply for certification to the outdated versions.

Changes have been made to the following criteria documents:

TCO Certified Edge – Displays 2.1

Minimum 85% post-consumer recycled plastic

The updated criterion is harmonized with the criterion for post-consumer recycled content in TCO Certified, generation 10. In practice, this means that the scope for plastic parts included has been lowered from 5 grams to 0.5 grams, and the documentation required for proving PCR plastics has been clarified.

TCO Certified Edge – All-in-one computers 1.1

Minimum 50% post-consumer recycled plastic

The updated criterion is harmonized with the criterion for post-consumer recycled content in TCO Certified, generation 10. In practice, this means that the scope for plastic parts included has been lowered from 5 grams to 0.5 grams, and the documentation required for prooving PCR plastics has been clarified.
