As many of your know, we have been focusing on multiple verification rounds this year, including a series of factory spot checks.
Approval of flame retardants
We have received some questions about the timeframe for approval of test results for non-halogenated flame retardants in accordance with GreenScreen for Safer Chemicals.
Reminder – submitting your application documents
Please make a note of the November 11 deadline to submit your factory audit reports and other supporting documents to be in compliance for the following 12-month period. This is in in accordance with criterion A.7.1 in TCO Certified.

Verification 2016 – product/factory spot checks, round robin testing
As we mentioned in last month’s technical update, this year we’ll be carrying out a number of quality control and verification activities, both at the product and factory level.
New verification organizations added for review of social audits
Due to the growing need for verification of social audits from facilities manufacturing TCO Certified products, we’re please to announce some new additions to our list of partner organizations that are approved for carrying out third party verification of your factory audit reports.
