Andreas Nobell

Circularity

Andreas Nobell is a passionate circularity advocate and has developed a broad set of circular criteria for TCO Certified, including an e-waste recovery scheme that received the SPLC Supplier Leadership Award in 2020. Andreas is one of the founders of Circular Electronics Initiative and Circular Electronics Day and is currently involved in several research projects to develop tools and methods for circular IT.

Niclas Rydell

Climate

Niclas Rydell has led the development of the new generation of TCO Certified. He started his career 20 years ago in product testing and played a key role in establishing a systematic approach that ensures TCO Certified promotes continuous and lasting change. Niclas has also developed the annual product carbon footprint and renewable energy criteria based on independent research and extensive discussions with climate scientists and industry stakeholders.

Clare Hobby

Sustainable procurement

Clare Hobby leads external engagement for TCO Certified and empowers technology procurement and policymakers globally to become changemakers as they face today’s critical environmental, climate and social sustainability challenges. With over 20 years in sustainability, Clare currently serves in board and advisory roles with the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council and Clean Electronics Production Network.

Stephen Fuller

Stephen Fuller

Substances and supply chain

Stephen Fuller created the groundbreaking TCO Certified Accepted Substance List, promoting safer alternatives to toxic substances in the IT industry. He also developed the first supply chain criteria included in an IT product certification. As a lead social auditor and chemical expert, his visits to factories in Asia and South America have deepened his understanding of the industry’s challenges and motivations for making responsible choices.

Barton Finn

Sustainable procurement

Barton Finn is an expert in technology, procurement and sustainability. He supports institutions and purchasing organizations in the Benelux and French-speaking Europe to drive environmental and social responsibility by using TCO Certified in their IT tenders. He has prior experience working for the European Parliament and, more recently, as a member of the government affairs department of a major IT company.

Paulina Modlitba is a thought leader in technology and innovation. She developed an early interest in programming and the internet and eventually applied to both KTH and MIT where she studied and researched robot-human interaction, machine learning, and technology that assists individuals on the autism spectrum.
