This webinar was part of the official activities for Circular Electronics Day, and the second in a series with presentations and live discussions of unique and impactful approaches to circular electronics.

Circular Electronics Day aims to encourage organizations and consumers to take a more responsible approach to the electronic goods they use. This year’s theme is lifting best practices.

Fifty million metric tonnes of e-waste is generated every year, equalling the weight of nearly 4,500 Eiffel towers, making it the world’s fastest growing waste stream. Much of it is incinerated or placed in landfills, causing pollution, human health hazards and the loss of valuable finite resources.
