Why we have chosen these product categories
TCO Certified is designed to drive progress toward more sustainable IT products, and the choice of our product categories is no coincidence. Each category is selected because of its large impact on users, the workers in the factories and the environment. They are all widely used in offices and at home, not rarely during many hours of the week. This means that the design needs to be ergonomic and the use of unsafe substances minimized or eliminated to not pose a risk to the user’s health.
