We have found an incorrect phrase in the sustainable performance indicator (SPI) Product carbon footprint. A change will be included in the next revision of the criteria document for TCO Certified, generation 9, but the correction already applies.

In the clarification section of the SPI Product carbon footprint, five classes for data age are listed (A-E). Class D currently reads:

“Class D : The data used to calculate the PCF is older than 10 years old.”

This is wrong. The text should be:

“The data used to calculate the PCF is older than 7 years.”

This change applies from today. Updates to the criteria documents will be made in connection with the next revision.
