As part of criterion 8.2, E-waste management, the e-waste management template must be filled in and submitted by the end of August each year. The e-waste management template covers all markets where certified products are sold.
Also note that with TCO Certified, generation 9, reporting of product manufacturing volumes is now included in the e-waste management template. (In TCO Certified, generation 8 it was part of criterion 1.3.) For reporting on production volume, the brand owner may either report the data for each product model separately, or submit an aggregated figure for each product category.
The e-waste management template is evaluated and uploaded to TCO Certified Portal by an approved verifier. You can check the status of the e-waste management template in the “SRM” section on TCO Certified Portal.
