Michael Buchanan. B.E. (Hons), M.Eng.Sc (Res), is a Procurement and Commercial Leader with over 15 years of experience across all sizes of organizations and most industries. His fascination with the dark art of commercializing Technology grew into commercial capability and experience across all Technology sub-categories. The challenge of delivering Social, Sustainable and Circular to organizations’ commercial & procurement has become a passion of his, particularly when it involves innovation in traditional areas such as procurement of carbon credits produced by Indigenous land management practices.

His passion has now extended into volunteering support for Digital Inclusion with the Australian Digital Inclusion Alliance and Sustainable Technology by supporting “Organisations for Sustainable Circular IT” (part of the eWaste Watch Institute)

Mark leads SERI’s engagement with like-minded organizations who are working to build solutions towards a larger sustainable and circular economy. Over his professional career, Mark has spent more than 20 years examining the lifecycle impacts of products and ways to practically reduce them. On the market demand side, he has promoted sustainable procurement to purchasers in government, K-12 schools and higher education, healthcare, foodservice, sports venues, and hospitality. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and a M.S. in civil and environmental engineering from The George Washington University.

Martin Söderberg has been working with sustainability certification at TCO Development since 1998 and was prior to this involved in the practical testing of products as a testing engineer at Intertek in Stockholm. In 2005 he relocated from Sweden to Taiwan to open up TCO Development’s Asia office in Taipei. His current position is Industry Relations Manager, meaning that he helps guide manufacturers and IT-brand owners to certification of their products. Martin also holds a position as board member of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Taipei since 2016.
