Looking ahead to the first draft of TCO Certified, generation 10

On 27 September, the first draft of TCO Certified, generation 10 will be released. The development process is open to all stakeholders, and you are welcome to participate.

A new generation of TCO Certified is launched every three years with updated criteria and verification methods to address sustainability challenges and keep up with technology developments.

The timeline for draft 1 looks as follows:

It will be released on 27 September.
Criteria documents will then be published on our website.
On 18 October, we will present the draft in a webinar, with two alternative time slots. The webinar will also be available on demand.
The deadline for submitting comments is 27 November.

The remaining development plan

Draft 2 will be released in February/March 2024.
The final criteria and verification methods will be published in May/June 2024. Brand owners will then be able to apply for certification.
Launch of TCO Certified, generation 10 and presentation of the first certified products in December 2024.
